Understanding direction

Understanding direction
*This poem is in response to the poem "When will I move to pointless tunes of beauty"

The world of ideas
All relative truths
Not one of them provoke
But for emotion

Ideas are detached
They truly don't care
All have meaning
Or don't - it's just the same
In that world nothing is assigned

Everything is right and wrong
Depending on how you use it
Choices have consequences
Allowing the lessons of life

Spy out your weight class
Enter the ring
Limits and balance
Enable a steady fire
Punch and learn how

Tap out when you're done
Dance while you train
There's a rhythm in routine

Beauty, alluring in its song of promise
Effaces harmony in its vamp solo.
