The train
By Chaim W.
The train—oh, how it moves,
be it sunshine or rain.
As it goes down the track,
some go to work,
while others come back.
People loud,
people quiet,
people who just don’t care.
People helpful,
babies crying,
people you won’t see again anywhere.
But it wasn’t always like this.
Trains moved for more than just life—
war and fighting,
through thunder and lightning,
brought terrible things about.
At the end of the day,
you can be sad on the side
or too angry to say hello.
If you really decide
you can make a difference inside
and bring the change out into the world.
