Outreachers

after i write this

i'll continue the joy of my life

but for this moment:

there is no particularly nice or fancy way

to discuss the plight of the chabad institution

as millions of dollars spill

to fund funds of all sorts 

for all sorts of the unaffiliated

it is us, the affiliated

who melt alike

don’t we get to love judaism?

don’t we get fancy things?

i am angry

because the unbelievable love and passion i have for my religion

is cut short by those

outreachers

the insides do not matter

the insides do not count

there is no love for us

those in the fold

to hell with the fold

we deserve the love of god

and the pretty necklaces

and the ability to remain sexy

if only you could love me

the way you love fixing me
